Haggai 2:8
Proverbs 16:24
Spending a lot of days lately with scrapbook projects but took time recently to do a couple of pieces of faith art. The top piece was a response to a challenge called “Metal Mania,” using metal in an art journal page. I used metallic paints and the Scripture reference about silver and gold belonging to God - Haggai 2:8.
The second piece is a page from my journaling Bible. Sometimes SIMPLE just feels good! (Note: the page behind this one has stamped medicine bottles for the "merry heart doeth good like a medicine" passage. I'm okay with that.)
Proverbs 16:24 - "Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to the bones." (KJV)

The Haggai one falls under the heading of "art that I just really like and can't figure out why." Something very appealing about it. Nice work.
The Haggai art journal piece is simple and straightforward. You like that. (Much art journal mixed media tends to be crazy, messy and chaotic). I think guys also tend to like metallic. Then, of course, the focal point is a Scripture verse. Those are some of the subtle reasons behind the "why." Maybe. Thanks for the nice comment.
