Whimsical Portrait Trial

While we were in Colorado on vacation, I worked a bit on a sketched whimsical face. Yesterday I finally finished coloring and shading it (with water color crayons). This is definitely not something I see myself doing, and certainly not doing well, but it was rather fun just playing around with an out-of-the-box (for me) technique. This is the second or third “attempt” at this “art form",” and it makes me really admire people who are good at this!
