My granddaughter is home from college between semesters, and my daughter-in-law took off a day from substitute teaching, so that we could enjoy an “art day” in my craft room. It was so much fun! We worked all day, with a break for a nice lunch (chicken salad on dollar rolls and fresh fruit salad) and then an afternoon coffee break with cupcakes they provided.
Tory and I both did art journal pages, while Kristy (a “real” artist) did a water color (using mostly water color crayons) inspired by one of our coffee mugs.

Tory with her Project: Everything Beautiful in its Time
Incredibly, this is Tory’s first-ever Art Journal page! I’m so proud of her!

We worked hard and SO deserved a sweet treat!
