“Eucharisteo” Art Journal Page based on "One Thousand Gifts” (Voskamp)

A Christmas gift from my daughter-in-law, this book, One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp, continues to inspire me. There are several “new” concepts (for this “old” Christ-follower) that are so basic as to cause me to be amazed that I had not already thought of (or heard of) these insights, at least not “put” this way.

When I read this paragraph early-on in the book, I made myself a note: “art journal page.” Ann’s writing is often abstract, but always poetic, and her description of the way these characteristics come together to create meaning in an abundant life--it just painted a picture in my mind. I am certainly not an artist, but my Inspiration Art Journal allows me a “safe” place to attempt to express my emotions.

A closeup of her thought:

Undoubtedly I will blog more about thanksgiving, her foundational thesis.

Love this book—highly recommend! Good call, Darling Daughter-in-Law!!
