I Scream for Ice Cream {Art Journal}

Stencils and Ice Cream

I really do. I am the world’s biggest ice cream fan. I love it. I crave it. I eat it. Uh oh.

One of the lessons in my Art Journal Summer School class suggested a page on summer treats. Yum.

This page uses acrylic paint, washi tape, and NeoColor II watercolor crayons. (I realize most everyone can sketch an ice cream cone. But, a couple of years ago, I couldn’t. Progress, step at a time…Just sayin’.)

    Oh my goodness I'm right behind you about the ice cream! Then an ice cream shop opened up just 3 blocks from our house a couple of years ago. OH NO... Thank heavens it's in the direction that we're always off to an appointment so we can't stop. Saves calories and guilt, lol. Maybe I should try and learn to draw a cone instead, for satisfaction like you.

    If I lived blocks away from an ice cream shop, we would need to enlarge the doorways of our house! And who said that drawing the cone satisfied my craving!!!! Thanks, Nancy!
